The ₦4trn requested by President Muhammed Bubari for payment of petrol subsidy was approved on Thursday by the House of Representatives.
President Buhari has asked for a further ₦3.557 trillion in addition to the ₦442.72 billion allocated for petrol subsidy in 2022.
Members of the House of Reps approved the petrol subsidy and also approve the reduction in the production quota of crude oil from 1.8 million barrels per day to 1.6 million barrels per day.
The famous ‘Ekueme’ vocalist, Osinachi, is dead
Evangelist Osinachi Nwachukwu, the popular ‘Ekwueme’ crooner is dead.
She died on 8th April 2018. The ‘Ekwueme’ singer gave up her battle with throat cancer last evening, in a hospital in Abuja.
Evangelist Osinachi Nwachukwu will forever be remembered for her soul-inspiring songs, Ekwueme, which brought her into the spotlight and Nara Ekele.
The deceased singer is survived by her husband, Peter, her four children and her twin sister, Amarachi Eze, also a great singer.
